Scatter Sunshine: Remembering Verna Taylor

Today in RS we sang Scatter Sunshine.  I thought that was perfectly chosen to describe all of you!  This past week has been a challenging one for anyone who loved and adored Verna Taylor.  Many of you have blessed us through the sunshine you have given.  Within hours of her passing we had seen many of you on our doorstep! Freshly baked pies, breads, and cookies were delivered.  Phone calls, emails and hugs were exchanged. But most importantly the prayers that buoy us all up.  Thank you Sisters for being you.  Thank you for all your compassion, love and care during this time.  Many people have asked how they can help and the best way you could help me or the Layton’s at this time would be to contact Pam Tanner and see what is still needed as far as funeral help goes.  Verna will be missed terribly by her family and me her caregiver.  But what a reunion she is having in heaven at this time.  Seeing her Mother that she hasn’t see in 89 years, reuniting with her Sweetheart, her father and siblings and her daughter and son in law. I can’t imagine a more GLORIOUS REUNION!
Keep Scattering the Sunshine!  Enjoy your week and remember how thankful I am for you!
Meg
